About Me

Who am I?

My name is Khaled Hussein. I was born and raised in Egypt by a wonderful family. My father has a degree in mathematics, which is possibly why I have an interest in computer science. Athleticism “runs” in my family, which influenced my interest in sports. Currently, I am involved in bodybuilding, motorcycle racing, martial arts, parkour … etc. Can you notice a theme?

Education

I received my BS in Computer Science from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Egypt. Then I received my MS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech. Currently, I am working on a number of research projects. If you are interested, you can read about my research areas.

Career

In July 2008, I joined one of the best work environments I can imagine, Rackspace. Currently, I am the Technology Strategist in Rackspace Email and Apps. Before Rackspace, I worked in a number of companies that helped me improve my skills and experience.

I am the founder of ImpressTheFuture.
